Email integration is the feature that really makes the free HubSpot CRM stand out from the competition.  Most other platforms charge you for the built-in email integration the HubSpot includes.  Of course the Sales Pro plug-in, which is paid, enhances the email capabilities, but even in the free version you can send email from your own Google Apps or Office 365 domain,  automatically log any emails to an existing contact (or create a new one) and also auto-log email responses (this is big!).
